Our new Media Guide provides you with the necessary information to help your day at the races go as smoothly as possible. The Carolina Cup Racing Association relies on the Carolina Cup and the Colonial Cup race days to fulfill its mission of operating Springdale Race Course as both an equestrian and tourism center. Springdale Race Course, in addition to hosting the Carolina Cup and Colonial Cup race days, is home to a 600 acre, year-round, European style Thoroughbred racehorse training facility.
The training and preparation for steeplechase and flat race horses is an ongoing effort. We encourage you to come and visit Springdale Race Course throughout the year. We are happy to make the necessary arrangements for interviews with jockeys and trainers, and for photographing horses, the race course, training barns or morning gallops. Stock photographs are also available upon request.
A Media tent located near the Paddock is available to all credentialed press on both race days.
