Every ticket, tee shirt or program you buy for the Carolina Cup and/or Colonial Cup race days gives life to this community, this state, and beyond. Net proceeds from our race days go to local hospital/healthcare provider KershawHealth. Previous donations have helped fund a new lithotripter.

 

 

Local charities benefit on race days. The Jaycees sell tickets at the gates, the Junior Welfare League sells souvenirs, and the Camden Booster Club sells race day programs. In turn, the commissions earned by these charities are returned to the community through donations to individuals and other charities.

 

 

Your support also helps us to donate thousands of complimentary general admission tickets and hundreds of Infield reserved parking spaces to our Military and their families at each Colonial Cup race day.

The Carolina Cup Racing Association, Inc. is a 501(c)(4) organization which is owned by the State of South Carolina and operated by a committee. The land and an endowment were given to the State of South Carolina by Mrs. Marion duPont Scott in her will at her death. The General Assembly of South Carolina formally accepted this gift and the requirements of responsibilities by legislative statutes. All donations to this organization are deductible as charitable contributions, to the extent that they are without benefits or over and above benefits received in return.
